Jean-Pierre LABRY, French National, married with three children, has spent the last 20 years abroad, concentrating his exposure in Middle East, Turkey, Africa & India.
He is graduated from INSEAD (Fontainebleau, France) as well as Ecole Supérieure du Commerce Extérieur (ESCE Paris, France).
After joining in 1995 a large French Group in the petrochemical industry where he was leading the Middle East Sales & Operations activities, he moved to a large Emirati/French company as Board Member / Management Representative being a Certified Lead Auditor (OHSAS & ISO 9000:2000) with Bureau Veritas (BVQI) as well as Certified for NEBOSH International (Safety) on British Standard.
In 2001, he joined as a Board Member a MEP (Mechanical / Electrical/ Plumbing) construction company with a workforce of more than 4500 employees. Having agreements with companies such as Schneider Electric (largest franchiser and distributor in the Gulf) and Bouygues International, he developped the first ever IT Infrastructure Company dealing in Office Cabling, Datacenters and Telecom. The largest achievement was the full roll out of FFTH (Fiber To The Home national scale project called Elife) for Etisalat Telecom Operator in the UAE.
He was afterwards recruited in 2009 by an international Swiss Group based in Zurich to become their Executive Vice President for the region, responsible for the Regional Headquarter (UAE) as well as all liaison offices plus industrial/ logistic structures (Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, Jordan, Turkey, Morocco & Egypt). National scaled projects in Saudi Arabia, Qatar, UAE, Egypt and lately Oman were among other large references.
Jean-Pierre LABRY is a very active businessman with strong reputation.
Between 2001 & 2004, he was elected as Board Member (Treasurer) of the French Business Chamber of Commerce in Dubai for 3 consecutive years.
In 2010, Jean-Pierre LABRY received the Award for best SME Exporter of the month (November) from the Dubai Chamber of Commerce in recognition of distinguished export performance for achieving the highest number of new markets during 2010 compared to 2009
And since 2011, he is a visiting Faculty member in Paris La Sorbonne University Campus in Abu Dhabi (UAE) for Master Banking & Finance in Project Management Module
